Utilising delicious bookmark subscriptions

Delicious is huge social bookmarking site, the only problem i find is choosing the tag when i post a bookmark. I guess everyone does. A tag for 1 topic can be worded in various ways, as there is no standardisation across the site and the predictive tag text just looks at your own tags.

Anyway i found that if you want to look for a topic you can use Subscriptions within delicious. Here look at mine.

What subscriptions allow you to do is bundle a number of tag into 1 subscription. By doing this you can negotiate your way around the ugly disorganised keywording scenario.

Manage Subscription bundles & add keywords

Manage Subscription bundles & add keywords

  1. Click Add subscriptions enter your tags (keywords).
  2. Click Subscription bundles and enter the title to group the tags together.
  3. You have now create a subscription for a topic with various tags.
